The ultraviolet sanitising technology of the Delta UV unit is the same technology used by many municipalities worldwide to sanitise drinking water. By circulating the water through the UV unit and exposing the bacteria and microorganisms in the water to the ultraviolet light generated by the High Output UV bulb inside, sanitation is achieved and floating algae is is eliminated.
